 Today we studied a list of words for our vocabulary quiz coming up. I liked how we could use our words in a sentence as it helped me understand them better and allowed me to get the work done easier instead of going through the internet and taking forever. I like how today I could easily learn my words and then have free time to do work for other classes and use that effectively to study.

 Today in class I had to do an assignment based on fifteen vocabulary words. I learned about some words I never knew and others I've learned already but it was nice to review them. I didn't like how I had to put pictures to describe the words when I can show my proof of knowledge and learning by just writing the word's definitions in my own words. I'm just complaining as I'm just really tired today and didn't feel like doing all of that but I endured. 

 Today I took a quiz about everything I learned about origin myths. I didn't really learn anything as of today but my knowledge on the topic was put to the test. I missed 3 questions so I feel I must study the topic a little more. I feel happy that I passed but I wanted more so ill try harder. 

 Absent

 Today I  did a Newsela assignment since Mr Rease was not here today. I learned about a myth called The Great Turtle. The myth shows how the turtle cares for the Earth and helps out the Chief's daughter to get back home.

 The three goals I have this year are making it to S1 at dynamo, getting most of the high school state cuts in swimming, and maintaining all As. The first goal will expand my possibilities as well as maybe be able to swim for a D1 school. The second goal is just personal and bragging rights for myself though I wouldn’t bring it up. Finally my last reason for my last goal is just so i can get into a good college and set myself up for success with all As.
