 Today was about Claims and we took notes on this topic and how it can be used. There were 3 types of claims and what they were used for. I know this will be useful for argument essays and connects very well and is important for this but other than that it was good and we got free time afterwards which is always nice.

 Today we worked on vocabulary in preparation for a quiz soon. I finished pretty early and have about 45 minutes of free time. Today is a good day just for that so I can socialize or do other assignments for other classes. There isn't much else to say other than the fact the room now has AC so that's good.

 Today we finalized our essays and are done with very long paper. I'm glad I did it as i learned a  lot from this. I also got deftones concert ticket codes from Mr. Rease which was very nice of him. All and all today was a good day.

 Today we edited and revised our essay as well as proofread it. We sat in class for the most part and did work from other classes once we were done. I worked on physics homework and some late assignments but it was short so there wasn't much to be done today and much was already accomplished.

 Today we worked on finishing our essays. We learned about certain details when it came to introductions and concluding paragraphs. So today is that test of knowledge to compose an essay that will be good enough to read. I was mostly writing notes and then finishing my introduction and concluding paragraph for tomorrow to copy on Microsoft word.

 Today we wrote our last paragraph for our essay. I wrote about guitar and how to get better at it. After I finished I talked to Mr. Rease the rest of the period and it was fun since he showed me a neat little trick to get concert tickets. We both have similar music tastes and it was a nice conversation. 

 Today we revised the body paragraphs from yesterday. I  enjoyed revising and making improvements to my work. Mr Rease helped me out a lot and I was able to make my writing a lot better.  I had trouble seeing some things and he wanted me to correct and why but I was able to figure it out and not use contractions as well.

 Today we made a bubble sheet to make ideas for what i'm assuming to be an essay. I chose for my topic the goals I want to accomplish this year. I keep getting hit with writer's block and how I can improve. I don't like writing essays but writing about myself is an easy task since I have a lot to say

 Today we learned about the writing process and how to effectively put it to use not just in this class but all classes. The lesson was helpful to get rid of writers block as I get that a lot. I like the little jokes that were sprinkled about and the lesson was good. I'd say today was a good day and we got time to study after and I'm going to use this method for the rest of the papers I write.

 Today we took a vocabulary test and I did quite well on it, I knew all of the words and I only missed 1 question so I'm feeling good about that. After our test we did another lesson on Emily Dickinson's "Success is counted sweetest" and it was an alright poem, I'm not the biggest fan of poems but learning them can be interesting as I find a good one every once and a while like this one. This poem actually signified something that was important to me.
